REDI TO HOST ANNUAL LUNCHEON TUESDAY, MAY 21, FEATURING THE BALD FUTURIST, STEVE BROWN

Redmond, Ore. (April 29, 2019)Redmond Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) is pleased to announce its upcoming luncheon focused on topics applicable to the Central Oregon business community.

This year’s event focuses on the ever-changing world of work and workforce. With technological advances such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, robotics, 5G, and augmented reality, it’s important for businesses to know how they can streamline using these tools. Keynote Speaker Steve Brown, “The Bald Futurist,” will help attendees understand both the business and societal impacts, how they will shape the future and will help develop new strategies to navigate and thrive amidst these upcoming changes.

Former Chief Evangelist and Futurist at Intel Corporation, Steve Brown is an energetic speaker, author, strategist, and advisor with over 30 years of experience in high tech. Speaking at events all over the world, Steve helps his audiences understand the impacts of new technologies and how they will shape the future five, ten and fifteen years from now.

REDI’s Senior Director, Jon Stark, will also report on key metrics that have impacted Redmond’s economic prosperity and business development initiatives.
