Real Work-Life Balance

This region offers a balanced blend of outdoor activities, city amenities and small town commute times. Whether you're drawn to outdoor adventures or seeking a collaborative business ecosystem, this area provides a supportive environment for businesses to grow and thrive.

Business Networking

The entrepreneurial spirit in Central Oregon is stimulated by events like EDCO’s Bend Venture Conference (BVC), the Pacific Northwest's largest gathering of angel investors, and supported by resources such as OSU-Cascades, the Small Business Development Center, Opportunities Knocks, and numerous incubators. Entrepreneurs and business owners receive unparalleled support through highly experienced mentorship opportunities and a business community that celebrates each other's successes.

Financial Incentives

Oregon offers more incentive programs to traded-sector businesses than Washington or California. Even without taking those incentives into consideration, Oregon is still a more cost-effective choice for doing business. Connect with EDCO for a detailed look at the business costs in Central Oregon.

“When we relocated our engineering firm to Deschutes County the EDCO team was incredibly helpful.  They assisted us with finding our new office space and provided invaluable support as we navigated the paperwork to pursue various tax incentive programs.  Since our move they have been extremely supportive with finding new employees and connecting with various business services in the area.  Central Oregon has proven to be an excellent place to base our business.”
