EDCO ANNOUNCES SPEAKERS FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 22 PUBTALK FEATURING ALL-STAR PANEL DISCUSSING: WHERE DOES SaaS MARKETING END AND SALES BEGIN?

BEND, OR (February 13, 2018) – Economic Development for Central Oregon (EDCO) has announced the speakers for the next PubTalk, focusing on the tech industry, marketing, and the question Where Does SaaS Marketing End and Sales Begin? PubTalk will take place on Thursday, February 22, 5 pm at McMenamins in Downtown Bend. Tickets are on sale now and available via Eventbrite here.

EDCO’s Central Oregon PubTalk, held the fourth Thursday of the month, is a happy hour aimed at bringing together different facets of the business community in one place to network, share ideas, and further local businesses.

Keynote Panel

Chris Bright, VP of Marketing and Co-Founder, Zapproved LLC. Chris has dedicated his career to working with emerging growth companies and high-tech startups for more than 25 years. He has been with Zapproved since its founding in 2008 and has helped build it into a leader in the legal software market with more than 300 corporate customers, including some of the most recognized brands in the world. Prior to Zapproved, he managed worldwide corporate communications for Pixelworks, a publicly traded semiconductor company, where he was also on the team that prepared their IPO in May 2000.

Larry Grella, VP Sales Amplion. Larry is a serial business builder addicted to growing tech startups. He has a passion for building corporate culture and values that map to processes and desired strategic results. He has over two decades experience running Sales, CS and Marketing divisions with the battle scars and gray hair to prove it. Larry’s held executive positions and helped transform multiple companies, including Epic, RichRelevance, Conversant, Bazaarvoice, and more.

Robert Pease, Partner at 44North Ventures, Fund Manager for Cascade Angels Fund, Panel Moderator. A startup veteran, Robert has held a variety of executive, product, and marketing roles across six venture-backed software startups. Previously he was Vice President of Marketing for Seattle-based CRM software company Gist (acquired by BlackBerry) & CEO of marketing automation software company LoopFuse, where he led the turnaround and sale of the company to Salesfusion. Over the last three years, he has consulted with over 20 companies helping design and scale their customer acquisition efforts through his work with Seattle’s sales and marketing consultancy Heinz Marketing.

Azevtec's mission is to accelerate the global adoption of zero-emission supply chains and demonstrate the responsible phase-in of autonomous truck technology.

Company Update

Rita Hansen, CEO, Onboard Dynamics. Onboard Dynamics seeks to lower fuel costs and carbon emissions by removing infrastructure barriers to driving natural gas-powered vehicles. Their affordable, portable, and scalable refueling solution can tap into the existing low-pressure natural gas grid or capture and recover natural gas from renewable sources.
